Castle Park House

Two story single-family house located 25 km south of Cork City, Ireland. It stands on an elevated site, facing south west with the panoramic views- of the entire harbor. Design was based on Cork Rural Design Guide. The Cork guide has a very clear aesthetic agenda, promoting contemporary reinterpretations of the county’s rural vernacular, spelling out in great detail the underlying ‘grammar’ of the typical rural house.
